My journey has been defined by overcoming significant setbacks and persevering to become the best version of myself. Due to a neurological condition as a young child, I was told that I would never walk, talk or become a functional member of society.
Despite these obstacles, I refused to let setbacks define me. I learned to walk, talk, think, and feel again. I returned to sports, enjoying rugby, baseball, and hockey at multiple junior levels. I worked diligently to understand myself, my needs and learning style, so that one day I would flourish.
I went on to have a 12-year career as a paramedic before pursuing more education, driven by a determination to increase self-awareness and aid others in overcoming their life struggles.
Life is full of struggle, and others won’t always believe in you—but the one person who must believe in your potential is you. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that with resilience, perseverance, and the right strategies, you can overcome even the toughest challenges.
My mission is to guide others—whether first responders, athletes, or anyone facing obstacles—to build resilience, trust their own abilities, and thrive both personally and professionally.
